Polyurethane Overlayments
A medium to heavy duty troweled overlayment. Consisting of three-components, water dispersed polyurethane, base/cement, and aggregate screed, uniform in colour. Typically installed at a quarter inch to three eighths of an inch. This system is designed to provide excellent resistance to abrasion, impact, chemical attack, and other physical aggression. The system has a similar coefficient of thermal expansion to concrete allowing movement with the substrate through normal thermal cycling. It will perform and retain its physical characteristics through a wide temperature range from -40°C (-40°F) up to 120°C (248°F). Bond strength more than the tensile strength of concrete, meaning the concrete will fail first. Non-taint, odourless and behaves plastically under impact; deforms but will not crack or d-bond.
